BLITZ - Timebomb: Early Singles & Demos Collection LP
Catalogue: RRS16  Barcode: 889397101343

A pure shot of abrasive punk/rock 'n' roll with a hint of working class Oi!, Blitz were among the most influential punk bands ever. It was Gary Bushell (who wrote for "Sounds" and was later dubbed the God Father of Oi!) who brought the band to the attention of his friend Chris Berry, who had just set up No Future records with a bank loan and high hopes. No Future 001 catalog (and Blitz's debut release) was a 4 track EP titled "All Out Attack", a 20,000 copy bestseller that made the label's fortune, later to become the most representative of the whole UK82 movement. Its follow-up, "Never Surrender", reached number 2 in the Indie charts, while their 3rd EP, "Warriors", showed their slight move towards the singalong-style of classic OI!. Before shifting to a more new wave-influenced vein right by the end of 1983, they managed to reach number 2 in the charts with a fourth and last 'punk' single, "New Age". This 1980-1983 complete retrospective features all four aforementioned singles along with their very first recording session from 1980, the legendary 'Timebomb' demos, and 4 cuts from the "Voice Of A Generation" demos!

MAJOR ACCIDENT - Massacred Melodies LP
Catalogue: RRS17  Barcode: 889397101350

Started in late 1977 in Darlington, UK, after Con Larkin and his little brother Paul tried their hands at bass and singing respectively, legendary punkers Major Accident were initially influenced by the Pistols and the Clash. They toured the UK extensively before going to the studio, adding more originals to their set as time went on. However, a very sad fate befell their early studio activities: both their first recording session in 1980, which was supposed to be their debut single ("Terrorist Gang"/"War Boots") and the following one, which  produced a completely mucked-up, unusable first edition of this LP, remained unreleased for years. It took until late 1982 for their first proper release to see the light of day: produced by Donkeys guitarist Neil Ferguson, their debut album "Massacred Melodies" finally came out on Step Forward, supported by a full UK tour with label-mates CHELSEA. The distinctive 'Clockwork Orange' image (they were the first punk band to adopt the look from Kubrick's famous movie, which was banned in the UK at the time and impossible-to-see anywhere) and their songwriting, by far more peculiar than the average UK82 punk band, allowed them to grow a sizeable following, and their classic sleeve artwork by Paul Dillon started appearing on the back of more than a few black leather jackets.

Track list - Schizophrenic, (Standing On The) Sidelines, Last Night, Psycho, People, Terrorist Gang, Warboots, Mr Nobody, Self Appointed Hero, That's You, Brides Of The Beast, Classified Information, Middle Class Entertainment, Clockwork Toys.

KLASSE KRIMINALE - Faccia A Faccia LP
Catalogue: RRS17  Barcode: 889397101367

One of the longest running Punk Bands in Italy, KLASSE KRIMINALE were founded in 1985 by their leader Marco Balestrino, a singer, fanzine-editor and label-manager whose role in the skinhead scene over the past 25 years has been somewhat crucial. Influenced by early Reggae and '82-era UK Oi! and Punk, but following in the tracks of Italian skinhead pioneers NABAT and Rough (90% of their songs are typically sung in Italian), Klasse Kriminale's career has been long and scattered with success.
Originally released on the New Rose sublabel "Division Nada" (run by Berurier Noir's singer Francois), and long out of print, it was about time that their classic "Faccia A Faccia" from 1991 was available on vinyl again, with its original and extremely distinctive Alteau artwork.

Track list - Mangia I Ricchi, Quanti Altri Come Te, Si Beve E Si Ride, Oi! Siamo Tu Ed Io Vincenti, Runnin' Riot, Politicanti, So Che Sono Lo Stesso, Lungo Il Fiume, Ragazzi Come Tu E Me, Uniti Sempre Divisi Mai, Leggi, Faccia A Faccia, Cow-Punk Simphony, Johnny Too Bad.
